Halloween Candy for the Troops - Operation Support Our Troops

Halloween Candy for the Troops

We're excited to launch a sweet initiative that will allow us to show our support and appreciation to the brave men and women serving in our armed forces. Please bring in any leftover Halloween candy between November 1 and November 20 to the Lisle Recreation Center and we will donate it to Operation Support our Troops here in Lisle.

Why Donate Candy to Our Troops?

  • Boost Morale! Sweets have the power to brighten anyone's day. A little taste of home can boost the spirits or our troops!
  • Connection! It's a simple way to show our troops we are thinking of them.
  • Gratitude! Your candy donation will serve as a reminder that we appreciate their sacrifices and hard work.

How can You help?

  • Gather Candy. Collect unopened candy. Whether it's Halloween candy, surplus from your home, or store-bought, every contribution is valuable.
  • Donate Other Essentials: Toothpaste, mouth wash and dental floss are also appreciated and needed for the troops! Feel free to add these items to the candy donation box.
  • Spread the Word: Encourage your coworkers to join in on the initiative! The more candy we collect, the more joy we can send to our troops!
