The Lisle Park District recognizes that all persons are entitled to have access to public records in accordance with the provisions of the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), and affirms that it is the policy of the Lisle Park District to comply with FOIA.
The Freedom of Information Act law is used to ensure that all persons are entitled to full and complete information regarding the affairs of government, and the official acts and policies of those who represent them as public officials. The Freedom of Information Act is also used to make sure that public employees are consistent with the terms of this Act. Freedom of Information requests can be made via mail, e-mail, fax, or in-person at the Lisle Park District Recreation Center during normal business hours. In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act, you will receive a response to your request within 5 business days. If your request is denied, you may follow the appeals process outlined in the Illinois Freedom of Information Act. You may choose to inspect or receive copies of the information requested. There is a fee of $0.15 per page for copies. There is no fee for the first 50 pages. There is no charge to view the information.
