ADA ACOMMODATIONS

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) prohibits discrimination on the basis of a disability. The Lisle Park District is committed to accessibility for the disabled and strives to provide equal, integrated participation for the disabled in all of its programs, activities and services. The Lisle Park District's ADA policy is to reasonably accommodate all qualified disabled program applicants and participants in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1991 (ADA).

The Lisle Park District welcomes and supports the participation of individuals with special needs in all programs, activities and services. If any person wishing to participate in a Lisle Park District program has special needs that must be accommodated to enable participation, that person (or parent/guardian) must notify the Park District. The Lisle Park District will do what is reasonably possible to satisfy those needs.

Early registration along with a request for ADA accommodation or inclusion assistance in any program is required at the time of registration and at least two weeks prior to the program start date. This includes, but is not limited to Inclusion Aides, Sign Language Interpreters, Adaptive Equipment and Accessible Transportation.

The Lisle Park District is a member of SEASPAR Special Recreation Association comprehensive therapeutic recreation programs and services.
