2010 Summer Teen Trips

The following teen trips and programs are a cooperative effort of the Park Districts of Bolingbrook, Downers Grove, Lisle, Naperville and Woodridge. All trips depart from and return to the Lisle Community Center at 1825 Short Street, Lisle unless otherwise specified.

Raging Waves Water Park

Splish! Splash! It's time to ride the waves at Illinois' LARGEST and newest waterpark. At Raging Waves, lazy rivers, tube slides, speed slides and a wave pool await us so, get ready to tube up with a friend and shoot around the curves of each slide, twisting and splashing all the way down to the bottom of each wild ride. Fee includes admission and transportation. Please bring sun block and money to purchase snacks, lunch and beverages. Third Coast Surfing
Surfing on Lake Michigan? Let us take you up to New Buffalo, Michigan to make it happen! There you will take a two hour lesson with Third Coast Surf Shop's professionals. They will teach you the basic techniques to paddling, standing up and riding the waves. The lessons come with all the equipment you will need. You can even rent the board after your lesson for only $10 for the rest of the day. If you don't want to rent the board you can just hang out at the beach and swim in Lake Michigan. Remember to bring a lunch. Trip includes transportation, parking and two hour lesson. Additional waiver MUST be signed in order to participate.
