Lisle Park District Teen Programming
The Lisle Park District offers several programs and
special events for teens 11-17. If you have any programming suggestions or
would like to lead a class, please

Teens and Fitness
Young adults ages 14 and over may enroll in ALL Lisle Park
District fitness classes. They are also eligible for a Community Park

Babysitting
Skills for Success
Learn the characteristics of successful babysitting while taking part in
discussion and role-playing activities. CPR is covered although students
will not be "certified." Student handbook and reference materials are
included. Please bring a doll and a snack. Each class is two 4-hour
sessions. Age: 12-17.

Guitar
Bootcamp
Sat., Aug. 20, 1-4pm | Call of Duty: Black Ops
Students jump in with both feet learning the basics; the parts of the guitar,
notes on strings, basic chords, basic songs and basic scales in a fun-filled
atmosphere! Students learn the very techniques they need to jam with their
friends from the first lesson! Students must provide their own guitar. Acoustic
or electric (with practice amp) are acceptable. Price includes book. (8 weeks)

 Battle
of the Bands - May
21 at Lisle Sr. High School Auditorium
Let your band be heard. Winner moves to the regional competition. Winner of
regional competition plays at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield Illinois at
the Statewide Competition. Must submit a demo of at least one song or a link to
a website that features a song from your band.
