YOUTH BASKETBALL:
NOTHING but NET Basketball Camp
The
NOTING but NET Basketball Camp is designed to create an encouraging environment
focused on teaching the fundamentals of basketball with an emphasis on
developing the proper shooting technique.
The camp will walk through step-by-step shooting technique, ball
handling/dribbling skills, passing & player movement, defensive & rebounding
skills, and fundamentally sound footwork.
Each camper will be evaluated on day one and
put into an ability group matching his or her skill level.
Every
day will include time for detailed instruction, drills & skill development, and
structured games integrating newly obtained skills.
Campers will receive a t-shirt.
Tuition scholarships are available for this
program; apply at the Community Center or call 964-3410 ext. 4305 for more
details.
Coach Creighton Getting (Kennedy Jr. High) will be the lead
instructor and camp will be held at Kennedy Junior High.
