The Lisle Park District offers a variety of advertising and sponsorship opportunities for businesses and community associates to enhance their existing marketing exposure, increase sales and extend visibility.

Activities: The district provides year round activities which target all age groups in the following program categories: Early Childhood, Preschool, Youth General Interest, Athletics and Cultural Arts, Adult General Interest, Athletics and Cultural Arts, Teens, Active Adults, Wellness/Fitness and Special Events.

Facilities: The District boasts 40 parks, 23 tennis courts, 7 basketball courts, 31 playgrounds, 20 ball fields, 7 soccer fields, ramp park, Sea Lion Aquatic Park, Community Park Fitness Center, Senior Center, Gentle Learning Preschool, The Museums at Lisle Station Park, River Bend Golf Club, and Wheatstack - A Midwestern Eatery & Tap.

On average, over 10,000 adults and children register for Lisle Park District activities during a given year. Thousands more spectators visit our parks and facilities year-round at tournaments, athletic and special events. Community Park is home to the renowned Eyes to the Skies Festival held over the 4th of July holiday attracting over 200,000 visitors.

Park & Recreation Partner Opportunities

Some benefits of our highest level of sponsorship include year round exposure through signage and website presence, exclusivity rights, hospitality and networking opportunities. Park & Recreation partners are encouraged to make a multi-year commitment and can choose one of the following opportunities:

Sea Lion Aquatic Park - (Summer)

Make contact with over 39,000 visitors each year at our award winning outdoor aquatic park. Special events such as Family Olympics, Red, White & Blue Day, Family Float Nights (3) and Flick n Float together with over 1,000 season pass holders and 1,500 daily admission visitors make this a preferred destination spot in the western suburbs.

Community Park Fitness

This noncompetitive, friendly and stress free workout environment boasts over 340 members. Various fitness classes from Pilates to Yoga round out the fitness experience.

River Bend Golf Club

The Lisle Park District‘s public golf course features nine holes of bent grass tees, greens and fairways and protected wetlands. The par 36 design plays up to 3,500 yards and offers four sets of tees to accommodate various skill levels. The PGA approved facility has been rated one of the top three 9-hole courses in Illinois and challenges even the most seasoned golfer. River Bend hosts 30,000 rounds played annually and provides a full line of quality golf equipment and apparel available for purchase in the Proshop. Lessons and special events such as tournaments, championships, leagues, outings and holes sponsorships are available to help extend your visibility and awareness.

The Museums at Lisle Station Park

This museum complex is home to the Lisle Station Depot which served the Lisle community for over 100 years; the Netzley/Yender Farmhouse which houses a working beehive brick oven, the Heritage Society gift shop, the Heritage Society model train display and more; the Beaubien Tavern, which can be set up for educational youth seminars; a CB&Q Waycar or caboose; and the Blacksmith Shop which houses periodic blacksmithing and glass blowing demonstrations and classes. While the district sustains the museum complex, The Lisle Heritage Society volunteers keep the past alive and are committed to preserving Lisle’s heritage. Approximately 3,000 museum enthusiasts visit Lisle Station Museum annually. Depot Days and Ruralfest are two large annual special events held at the museum complex attracting over 500 spectators and visitors.

Picnic Shelters

The Lisle Park District offers the exclusive reserve of 3 picnic shelters and one Island Stage in Community Park. Two have natural wood burning fireplaces, attached bathrooms and are situated on Community Park pond. The other has bathrooms nearby and features a band shell atmosphere which is covered for safety from the elements. The shelters are available for rent for corporate business events and family reunions and parties from Memorial Day through Labor Day and attract 32-50 rentals per summer with 15-300 people per rental. The Island stage is also on Community Pond and is surrounded on three sides by water and overlooks a stadium like hill for concert or event goers. This venue is used annually by the famous Eyes to the Skies Festival held over the 4th of July and seen by over 200,000 visitors each year. This will also be the home of Movies in the Park.

Athletics and Sport Leagues - (Baseball / Softball, Tennis, Spring & Fall Soccer)

Lisle Park District’s Community Park is home to 54,000 baseball/softball spectators & players and the district’s in-house Youth Spring & Fall Soccer Leagues registering 300 youth and 75 volunteer coaches. The park district also operates 4 lighted tennis courts in Community Park during the summer and fall months with lessons, open play, high school tournaments and leagues. New in 2006, adult co-ed Bags and Dodge ball leagues have been added for those with an interest in experiencing two of the most popular sports games around while having fun and meeting new people.

Ball Field / Tennis Court Sponsors

The Lisle Park district owns, operates and programs 15 ball fields which are used annually by the Lisle Baseball/Softball league, Lisle High School baseball regular and summer season teams, Lisle High School softball regular season teams and Adult summer and fall softball leagues. Traffic is estimated to be over 80,000 visits to either watch or participate in a softball or baseball league per year. Sponsorship would include an outfield fence, 5’1” H x 9’ W size banner for the entire year at 3 ball fields and a 4’7” H X 9’ W banner at 4 tennis courts in Community Park.

Youth & Teen Camps

Various early childhood, youth and teen camps are available throughout the summer with a new Winter Quest camp added in 2006. These camps provide a wide variety of trips, fun activities and crafts for campers of all ages.

Senior Programs & Services

The active adult programs and services for residents and non-residents 50 and over and offered by the Lisle Park District are some of the best in the area. From exciting trips to holiday luncheons, bingo, personal services and grocery shopping, there is something for everyone. Over 300 active adults from Lisle and the surrounding areas are benefiting from our programs and services and look forward to receiving The Prime Times, bi-monthly active adult newsletter.

Teen Programs / Events

The Lisle Park District has several parks and facilities that teens have designated as hot spots or comfort areas. They enjoy free use of a Ramp Park built in 2004 in Community Park, a special teen area at Sea Lion Aquatic Park and Picnic Shelter areas. The annual theatre production of The Lisle Park Players includes teens from the Lisle area who take part as actors or behind the scenes help, has become a much awaited event. Teens also enroll in Teen Travel Camp and take trips during the summer months to anticipated destinations. During the school year, teens participate every Friday night in the T.A.P. (Teen Alternative Program) program held at the Lisle Junior High for socialization, fun and dancing to tunes spun by their favorite disc jockey.
