The View Restaurant and Bar

The View at River Bend Golf Club is looking for energetic and friendly applicants to fill the following positions:

The View Restaurant and Bar at River Bend Golf Course is seeking help for the following positions:

Experienced Head busboy, Head Hostess, Experienced Wait Staff, Food Runners, Line Cooks, and Dishwashers. Please apply in person at The View Restaurant and Bar, 5900 South Route 53, Lisle IL.

• Hosts
  Must be at least 16 years of age or provide proof of work eligibility if younger.
• Servers
  Must be at least 21 years of age or 18 with specified certification for serving alcohol.
• Kitchen Staff
  Must be at least 16 years of age or provide proof of work eligibility.
• Bartenders
  Must be at least 21 years of age and have successfully completed and alcohol awareness course as well as be a certified bartender. Proof is required for both requirements. All applicants must have a high school diploma or GED.

The Parks Department

Seasonal Grounds Workers and Athletic Field Crews Needed

The parks department is currently accepting applications for seasonal grounds workers and athletic field crews.  Duties for the grounds workers include all aspects of park improvements and maintenance.  Duties for the athletic field crew include prepping and improving the district playing fields.  Applicants need to be available April through the end of October.  Experience a plus but not necessary.  Call Kevin (630)9687-1012 ex. 4382 with questions.

Seasonal Pool Maintenance Staff Needed

Seasonal pool maintenance staff is needed to work at the Sea Lion Aquatic Park during all open hours.  Duties include cleaning and maintaining locker rooms, decks, pools and equipment.  Hours vary from 20 to 40 per week depending on availability.  This position is seasonal from May until late August/early September.  Pay begins at $8 per hour.  Experience a plus, but not necessary.  Call Adrian at (630) 964-3410 ext. 4312 with any questions or drop off your application at the community center.

Seasonal Aquatic Operators Needed

Seasonal aquatic operators are needed to supervise maintenance staff and monitor water quality at the Sea Lion Aquatic Park.  Duties include testing pool chemicals, keeping all pools in balance, maintaining pool equipment, backwashing and being responsible for the overall cleanliness of the water park.  Hours vary from 16 to 40 per week depending on availability.  Must have experience with water chemistry.  A CPO or AFO certification is preferred but not necessary. This position is seasonal from May until late August/early September.  Pay begins at $10 per hour.  Call Adrian at (630) 964-3410 ext. 4312 with any questions or drop off your application at the community center.

SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVER to serve as back up driver for the 23-passenger Lisle park district bus.  CDL with passenger endorsement is required. Applicants must have a valid IL CDL driver’s license and must be able to successfully pass a drug test.
